The new year is upon us. Well, it's actually been here for half a week now, hasn't it? 2010 should be an interesting time and I expect it to be a good year for Webmaren.com.
Normally, I'm not much of a New Year's resolution kind of guy. Those resolutions usually don't go anywhere, and I'm not one to believe in some sort of magic property of timing the setting of goals with the roll-over of the calendar. This year, however, I did decide to set a few resolutions for myself.
In order to make the comment system more accessible to you, my visitors, I have installed an automatic spam detection module into my Drupal system and allowed all comments that don't flag as spam to be posted immediately. Previously, all comments would collect in a review queue before being posted to the site. I hope this change will help to make Webmaren.com more usable for all of you.
My installation of the Image module group was also upgraded today.
As you may have noticed, I have rolled out several new features to the version two theme of Webmaren.com.
Regrettably, the site went down due to some technical mistakes earlier today. I am happy to report that we are back up and the old content should be (more or less) back in the next few hours.
Having this chaos erupt on me has once again reminded me of the wisdom of frequent backups, which I will be adhering to more from now on. For now, hang on while the content is restored, and should this happen in the future, I hope to be more prepared for it.
